Pastoral Care

The Pastor and the three Deacons are involved in all aspects of pastoral care.

In close collaboration with the parish pastoral staff, Outreach and Eucharistic Ministers provide emotional and spiritual support by visiting parishioners in their homes, nursing facilities or hospitals, and most often, offer Holy Communion.

Some of the parishioners are involved in A Community Caring for Life (ACCL) which provides confidential support, assistance or friendship to women and men during pregnancy. Every year, members of this group sponsor the “baby bottle campaign” to raise money for the Southside Life Care Center.

For those in need of healing after a divorce or death, the pastoral staff is ready to listen and help. The priest or the deacons can also assist someone who seeks a declaration of nullity of their marriage.
