St. Nick party Dec. 3
We will host our annual St. Nick Party from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3, at St. Peter.
Admission is free. The event is planned specifically for elementary school-aged children, but all are invited.
In the old holiday tradition, children (roughly) 12 and under are invited to leave their shoes on the stairs leading down to the social hall, and they will receive some treats.
Children will also have a chance to get their picture taken with St. Nick. (Please bring your own camera.) We will have games and prizes for the children and snacks and treats for children and adults.
Family Advent Hour
Join us for Family Advent Hour, 11 a.m. to noon Sunday, Dec. 10, in the social hall at St. Richard.
All families are welcome to join us to learn more about Advent with crafts and activities for young and old. No registration needed, just bring your family.

Westbound I-494 to Penn Avenue ramp closure begins November 5
Starting at 10 p.m. Sun, Nov. 5, crews will begin work to reconstruct the westbound I-494 to Penn Ave. ramp in Richfield. To allow crews to make these improvements, the ramp from westbound I-494 to Penn Ave. will close through late November. Work will also include widening the ramp.
If you plan on traveling in the area during this closure, you can use France Ave. to eastbound I-494 to the Penn Ave. exit as a detour.
Month of Remembrance/Mes del Recuerdo
During the month of November, the Church traditionally remembers those whom God has called through death to eternal life.
Names of those from our three parishes who have died in the last year will be read at our annual bilingual memorial Mass on All Souls Day, 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, at St. Richard.
Join us during this month professing our common faith and hope that those who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death and will live in newness of life with God forever. (Romans 6:3-4).
You are invited to bring in small pictures of your deceased family members and loved ones to display and pray for.
